| RHZ is a community based project initially started
from the personal finanaces of Jeff Cain (hint: he's a student and
works for the arts) and the small operating budget from Leefahsalung
at the New China Town Barber Shop. While many have donated their
time, expertise, and facilities to getting RHZ off the ground (Annie
Shaw, 365pm, Doug
Goodwin, and the Calarts Center
for Integrated Media, just to name a few), in order to bring
the project to where it is now, RHZ needs a budget to hire programmers,
pay technical consultants, buy equipment for experimentation, and
build a “scholarship fund” to bring transmitters to
the public.
If you are and art space interested in presenting the project, a
philanthropist interested in social technology, or a foundation
interested in helping fund research into emerging art and technology
research, please contact Jeff here.
